Abstract
Economic Liberalization as the outcome of New Economic Policy 1991 was a major landmark in India’s economic growth trajectory. Since then, the country witnessed capital inflows in the form of FDIs and FIIs in almost all spheres of economic activity. The retail sector itself grabbed much out of this inflow across the nation. As per the latest IBEF Report, India’s retail sector is worth a whopping US $1200 billion. It is projected to reach US $1300 billion by 2024. India was ranked, first in the Global Retail Destination Index of 2017 and is ranked 63rd in the Ease of Doing Business Rankings. The Indian industry recorded a net direct sale of US$ 2.47 billion in 2019. The transformation of the Indian retail sector has been consistent in bringing in investment. This metamorphosis of the retail sector is the consequence of various policy decisions.

Abstract
Outsourcing is defined as “transfer of the management or administration of a process or function from in- house staff to an outside service provider”. It is the process of transferring responsibility for an area of services and its objectives is an external provider. Outsourcing assumes greater significance in countries that are in the throes of economic reforms. It is the new title given to the old age decision-making model called ‘makes or buys’. Outsourcing has become an effective strategy to get various functions performed by a third party in manufacturing and service organizations, which are otherwise administered in-house. The power of outsourcing lies in its potential to help organizations to reorient their entire way of doing business. It has become an accepted tactic to lower costs and to gain competitive advantage by employing a specialist organization which is able to provide a category of service more efficiently than through in-house provision. Today’s competition is truly global and businesses compete across industries. The software industry particularly in India is one of the fastest growing Industries. NASSCOM’s survey indicates that the industry registered an overall growth of 55 percent. In response the HRM function has emerged as complex activities in IT industry. Factors like new technologies, highly qualified technical manpower, small and lean organizations have all contributed to the situation. Rapid and bureaucratic style, traditional bargaining skills are no more effective in emerging scenario. The HRM function has to constantly redefine and realign conventional practices on a proactive basis. From HR point of views, certain areas of concern appear to exist and are special concerns. In the world of huge competition, there are big competitors trying to expand their market share. This paper is intended to provide better understanding of the methodologies that the companies use to outsource their HR activities in general and in special reference to IT companies in particular.

Abstract
Travel Writing or Travelogue is an old canon of Literature, dealing with nature writing, adventure writing, exploration writing, guide books etc. Even the Picaresque form of the novel had elements of travel writing in it. It’s a herculean job as one has to be an effective use of language and at the same time be a keen observer to portray and display analytical data. This paper focuses on the real need, utility, relevance, and importance of travel literature in today’s rapidly changing tourism sector and globalised society as people try to see a new world through the writing and impression of a writer who serves to be an informer, advisor and guide. The canon of travel writing has acquired the centre of importance now rather than being in the periphery it also focuses on the changing paradigm of travel writing today.

Abstract

Abstract
The goal of exploring these disparities between urban and rural marketing is what motivated the selection of such a broad subject. India is a large country with a diverse population that is split between rural and urban areas, necessitating a tailored marketing approach that takes into account these distinct demographic and geographic differences. In light of the many challenges and possibilities facing retailers in both rural and urban areas, we decided to focus on this particular area of study. There are many facets of marketing management that fall under the purview of retail marketing. Having started out as a customer-centric field of study, retail marketing has evolved into one of the most important subfields of management studies at institutions of higher education around the world.
