Abstract
This study examined the Attitude towards Teaching of effective and less effective secondary school teachers in Kashmir valley. The sample of the study consisted of 800 secondary school teachers which were collected by random sampling. Attitude towards teaching scale developed by using S.P. Alullwalia’s was used. . Professional commitment scale developed by Ravinder Kaur and Sarbjit Kaur was used. The results of the study revealed that the effective secondary school teachers have a favorable attitude towards teaching as compared to less effective secondary school teachers. The results also revealed that effective teachers are more competent in their jobs and also show a positive attitude and are more cooperative to the students and heads of institutions.

Abstract
The focus of the present research was to study the scientific temper of rural and urban senior secondary school students of district Baramulla of Jammu and Kashmir. The sample consists of 300 (150 rural and 150 urban) senior secondary school students, selected randomly. The data was collected by using N.A. Nadeem and Showkat Rashid Wani’s Scale of scientific temper. The investigator used various statistical techniques viz, mean, S.D., t-test to analyze the data. The statistical data revealed that there is a significant difference between rural and urban senior secondary school students on various dimensions of scientific temper.

Abstract
Empowerment of Tribal Women For the enhanced socioeconomic development of any community, the active participation of women is essential. In a social set up like India’s, their participation has to be ensured through concrete measures, taken at various levels, which result in their empowerment in the real sense. Empowerment of women is one of the concepts that has developed in connection with improving their status. Empowerment includes higher literacy levels, education, better health care, equal ownership of productive resources, increased participation in economic and commercial sectors, awareness of rights and responsibilities, improved standards of living, self-reliance, self-esteem and self-confidence.

Abstract
The study aimed to find the difference in attitude of teachers towards teaching on the basis of gender, stream and locality. The sample for the study consisted of 200 secondary school teachers selected through simple random sampling technique from district Srinagar and district Kupwara of Jammu and Kashmir State. The ‘Ahluwalia’s Teacher Attitude Inventory’ was used for the present study. The sample consists of 200 secondary school teachers. Data analysis is based on the mean score obtained from the respondents. For statistical analysis t-test was used to determine whether there are significant differences in Attitudes of teachers.

Abstract
During the British rule over India, the Muslim education gradually lost its shine that it had during the Muslim period. It received a major setback and suffered a further reversal with the introduction of Modern education. Abstract
Autonomy at Higher Education level refers to the freedom given to the people who are authorized to execute the job itself. Indian Education commission (Kothari Commission1964-66) in light of the autonomy of colleges spoke that an autonomous status may be granted to the outstanding colleges to perform better markedly. In terms of management, autonomy is the innovative step to structuralize the educational management. UGC in its seventh plan also comes with the proposal of giving status to many autonomous colleges so as to implement the guidelines as envisaged in the National Policy on Education.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study the emotional intelligence of under-graduate students of Kashmir division of Jammu and Kashmir. For the study a total sample of 400 individual subjects divided into two divisions of 200 arts and 200 science subjects. The tool used for data collection was Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS) constructed and standardized by Anukool Hyde, SanjyotPethe and Upinder Dhar (2002). For this study the statistical tools used to be Mean, Standard Deviation and t-test. The findings of the study reveal that there is no significant difference in emotional intelligence of arts and science students.

Abstract
Present study has been aimed to see the status of psychomotor abilities and psychological variable of hearing impaired children of National capital region.100 school students from the age group of 14-18 years were selected. To measure psychomotor abilities and psychological variables like Static balance, dynamic balance, kinesthetic perception, visual perception, reaction time and differentiation ability following equipments were used. Static balance with Strok Stand Test, Dynamic Balance with Bass, Balance Test, Reaction time with Nelson Hand Reaction Timer, Kinesthetic Perception with Kinesthetic Obstacle Test, Visual perception with Muller Lyer Visual Perception apparatus, differentiation Ability with Backward Basketball Throw Test were measured respectively and to measure psychological variable Anxiety with Questionnaire developed by Dr. Anil Kumar was adopted.

Abstract
The lyrics of Arnimal traverse the entire range of emotions, including protests, love, sorrow and weariness. She has succeeded in transferring her personal trials and tribulations into universal ones. In this way, Arnimal has become one of the leading lights of the Kashmiri Hindu women who are the best examples of self-sacrifice and embodiments of love. A cursory study of her life and lyrics is enough to establish the poetic genius and mastery of technique achieved by that unlettered woman who belonged to the dark age of Afghan rule in Kashmir in the eighteenth century and yet she stands as the leading light of the unhappy period of history in the life of Kashmiri Pandits, both men and women.

Abstract
India had a population of nearly 36 crores at the time of independence. The need for movement and transportation was comparatively low. Horse carts, bullock carts, bicycles, trains, and other major modes of public transportation were not only not fast but also not necessary in those days. Only a few persons with a high income had personal vehicles such as cars. Scooters were first used by the upper middle class and the lower strata of the wealthy in the 1950s. Bicycles were used for transportation by both the middle class and the impoverished. Because the country's infrastructure was so bad, public transit was also a bottleneck. India's literacy rate was very low during the time. The Indian government took various initiatives to improve literacy, which resulted in increased income and, as a result, increased people's purchasing power. This has a significant impact on India's economic progress. This research looks at the two-wheeler market potential in Chhattisgarh's Raipur district. Two-wheeler market potential refers to the likelihood of a product being sold in the future. The market potential for a product varies by location. It is dependent on the consumer's preferences. Age, occupation, qualification, and income are all factors that influence two-wheeler preferences.

Abstract
For as long as there have been people, the concept of good mental health has been around. Dementia and its numerous therapies are extensively covered in our ancient scripture. Various mental diseases and therapies are detailed in the Atharva Veda, Chark Samhita, Susrut Samhita, and Asthangh Sangrah. Let them know how to maintain and improve their mental health by providing them with information. Chapter Sixteen of the Bhagavad Gita compares God's nature to that of a demon's intellect. "Fearlessness, purity of mind, wise use of knowledge and focus, kindness, self-control, self-sacrifice, scripture study, firmness and integrity" are traits found in persons who have a nature comparable to God's nature. Another characteristic of those who hold God in high regard is their commitment to "non-violence," which includes the absence of wrath or resentment as well as tranquility, faultlessness and compassion for the living.
